Abstract:
We present the case of a 62-year-old man with a history of chronic alcoholism, who attended medical evaluation for cognitive impairment and progressive behavioral changes for 5 years. The clinical presentation was initially attributed to a history of alcoholism, until a massive fronto-parietotemporal arteriovenous malformation was found. This case highlights the importance of carrying out an adequate approach to cognitive impairment, which includes neuroimaging support.
