Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the implementation of performance management in public sector organizations, with a case study at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Performance management is a strategic instrument for public organizations to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives, improve service quality, and enhance public accountability. This research employs a qualitative case study approach using document analysis of policy documents, performance reports, and relevant literature. The findings indicate that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has implemented a structured performance management system through strategic goal setting, performance measurement based on key performance indicators (KPIs), and periodic performance evaluation. However, challenges remain in aligning individual performance with organizational performance and optimizing the use of performance evaluation results for managerial decision-making. This study provides practical implications for strengthening performance management systems in public sector organizations.
