Abstract:
This review paper examines the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategies in enhancing contractor-homeowner marketplace matchmaking, focusing on personalization, trust, and efficiency. By leveraging AI, marketplaces can offer more tailored recommendations, build stronger trust through transparent and secure interactions, and streamline the matchmaking process for greater efficiency. The paper outlines the current state of AI in marketplaces, discusses the challenges of implementing AI strategies, and explores best practices and future directions for AI integration. The implications for marketplace operators, contractors, and homeowners are considered, highlighting the benefits of improved matchmaking. The review concludes with suggestions for future research to further explore the impact of AI advancements on marketplace dynamics.
