Improve the Quality of Ethical Education for Vietnamese Students Today

Globalization has been creating a trend of increasingly deep international integration in all areas of social life. International integration creates many development opportunities but also contains many challenges, including the challenge of ethical education for students. Faced with signs of moral and lifestyle degradation among a portion of students, moral education for Vietnamese students becomes even more important and necessary. In this article, the authors focus on explaining the basic theories of ethics and ethical education, analyzing the current status of ethical education for students, and thereby proposing some recommendations. In order to improve the quality of moral education for Vietnamese students today, such as: it is necessary to strengthen political ideological, ethical and legal education for students; equip students with basic understanding of ethical standards required by society; Enhance the role of Youth Unions and Associations in student moral education; raise a moral example for students and lecturers; connecting family, school and society in moral education for students.
