The Role of the Provincial-Level Vietnam Fatherland Front in the Mekong Delta Region in Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in the Digital Era

In the context of operating the two-tier local government model and robust digital transformation in the digital era, the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation poses urgent requirements for consolidating social consensus and political trust. Based on inheriting theoretical and practical foundations from the Mekong Delta region, the article analyzes the core role of the provincial-level Vietnam Fatherland Front in gathering the masses, promoting the great national unity bloc, conducting social supervision and criticism, and disseminating positive information in cyberspace. The study points out achieved results, existing limitations in the digital environment, and proposes synchronized groups of solutions to enhance the effectiveness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation from the grassroots level in the new development stage.
