The report draws attention to the growing worries about identity theft, financial fraud, internet scams, fake news, and technology weaknesses that impact people all around the world. The significance of digital financial literacy as a crucial skill needed to enable safe engagement in an increasingly digital economy is also examined. Evidence from EU members, Africa and Asia emphasizes the necessity of inclusive policy frameworks, technology safeguards, and behavioural interventions to confront new cyber threats.
