A Study to Assess Knowledge Regarding the Hospital Acquired Infection Among First Year Student Nurses in Selected Nursing Institution

Abstract:
A description study was conducted aim to assess the knowledge regarding the Hospital Acquired Infection among 1st year student nurses in selected nursing institution. A total of 15 students nurses were selected by convenient sampling techniques. The result shows that out of 15 students 0 (0%) student nurses age 17-18 year and 5(33.33%) student nurses age 19-20 year and 10 (66.67%) student nurses age 21-22 year and 15 out of 11 (26.66%) student nurses were female and the 4 (73.70%) student nurses are Male. 10 (66.67%) student nurses studying in GNM. 5 (33.33%) Student nurses were from B.SC Nursing. 4 (26.67%) student nurses have average knowledge 11(73.33%) student nurses have good knowledge and 0(0%) student nurses have poor knowledge.
