Of Positive and Negative Issues of Sports Management Department Students about Sports Facilities and Undergraduate Education using Photovoice Method (Erzurum Example)

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the positive and negative aspects of sports management students' management of sports facilities. method. (Erzurum example)

Material and Methods: 25 students (18 male + 7 female students) from the Sports Management Department of Ataturk University, Faculty of Sports Sciences participated in the research voluntarily. The volunteer students reported the pictures they obtained about 3 themes (facilities, materials and courses) and 15 sub-themes they encountered during their education process using the PHOTOSES method.

Analysis: The basic themes were reported by determining the positive and negative situations during the education process. The opinions of 25 students about 3 basic themes (facilities, materials and courses) and 15 sub-themes (features of facilities, adequacy, suitability, adequacy of course materials, usage, accessibility etc.) were taken into consideration and the results were revealed.

Result and Evaluation: According to the data obtained, the common views expressed by the volunteer students were that the sports facilities were partially sufficient, they saw deficiencies in the course materials, there were deficiencies in the practices of some courses, and this would negatively affect the students' success, motivation and expectations.
