Abstract:
This study details the synthesis of novel tetrazole moieties fused with 1,3,4-oxadiazole rings. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed through IR, 1H-NMR, MS, and elemental analyses. Furthermore, the biological activities of the resulting compounds were evaluated against key bacterial strains, namely Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, and Escherichia coli. The in vitro antifungal properties were also assessed using Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans fungal strains. This research provides a valuable framework for future investigations into the structure-activity relationships of these compounds.
