Abstract:
This study assesses Gen Z's intention to quit their jobs in Hanoi (the capital of Vietnam), focusing on the impact of commitment to the organization, authentic leadership style, and perception of behavioral control. The results showed that the intention to leave was average, influenced by employees' level of commitment to the organization, their perception of their ability to control the factors that hinder the job transition, and the manager's leadership style. Specifically, research shows that, when employees feel support from the organization, have confidence in their ability to find new jobs, and work under the guidance of transparent and ethical leaders, their intention to leave their jobs tends to change.
