Sustainable and Inclusive Work Through Job Security Towards Sustainable Development Goals

Abstract:

The study aims to explore sustainable and inclusive work through job security towards sustainable development goals. Mixed methods are employed in the study which deals on triangulation as a result of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) among the various professional educators in the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Education (DepEd), and other government entities. The study comprised Sixty (60) respondents only.

Results show that promoting decent work reveals necessary access to social protection, safe working conditions, and fair wages, show that creating inclusive workplace builds in boosting economic competitiveness and productivity growth for individual advancement such as training job and inclusive work skills, show that support entrepreneurship and innovation foster and create collaboration and platform in the promotion of creating spaces in learning equitable access and inclusivity, and show that invest in educational skills and development contributes and equips with social progress and skilled population in thriving the society, democratic participation, and fostering innovation.
