Formulation and Evaluation of Paronychia Relief Oil

Paronychia relief oil is a type of nail care product formulated as a topical antimicrobial blend design to elevate symptoms of paronychia, a common nail infection. Our unique formulation combines tea tree oil, neem oil, turmeric oil, aloe vera gel to provide potent antifungal and antibacterial activity. Clinical test demonstrates significant reduction in inflammation, redness and swelling, promoting nail growth and repair, with its gentle non irritating texture and pleasant aroma, paronychia relief oil offers an effective, natural solution for managing paronychia and promoting overall nail health.

Paronychia relief oil was prepared by using Coconut oil, Olive oil, Neem Oil, Tea tree oil, Bees wax, Aloe vera gel and Vitamin E oil. Five formulations (F1-F5) were Prepared by varying the concentration of the ingredients such as Aloe vera gel, Bees wax, and Glycerin. The Formulation were Evaluated for Organoleptic Properties, Homogeneity, spread ability, Irritancy test, PH of the oil and Antibacterial assay to ensure product quality and consistency. The formulation F4 was found to be the best among the four preparations as it showed greater consistency and homogeneity. The results demonstrated the successful development of Paronychia relief oil with a uniform Oil formulation with smooth texture, ideal pH and good spread ability. The findings suggest that the developed Paronychia relief oil to be a stable, safe and effective Nail care product which can deliver multiple benefits. The formulation successfully meets the intended objectives, providing moisturization, soothing, skin Protection and anti-microbial protection, making it suitable for the cracking of nails. The developed formulation holds promise as a natural, effective and high-quality Product with Pleasant smell. Further research and clinical studies are required to explore the efficacy and safety of the formulation in larger population.

Our product Mainly focus on Nail care and it provide best relief for the Paronychia affected persons. "We've titled our project 'Paronychia Relief Oil' because it's inspired by our mothers, who often suffer from this condition due to their excessive household chores. They spend most of their time exposed to soap, water, and other household tasks, which leads to paronychia infection in their nails. So, our main project's goal is to provide relief to people, especially homemakers, who suffer from paronychia due to their daily activities.
