Abstract:
This study presents an inventory of the most important theories on social representations and their impact on blood donation behaviours within the framework of health psychology, since social representations are among the factors that determine psychosocial behaviours. Social representations are potentially stereotyped beliefs and attitudes. They can influence the behavior of individuals and determine, among other things, whether or not they accept to donate their blood. As included Theories, incredibly endorsing the Specific study of social thinking and its relationship with blood donation behavior. Indeed, this study also analyzes the impact of these theories on behavior, clarifying factors that influence and encourage the blood donation process.
