The Impact of Rapid Technological Access on Students' Engagement in Extracurricular Activities

This research investigates the current situation of university students and their increasingly rapid access to technology, and the potential impact this has on their engagement in extracurricular activities. While technology offers numerous benefits for learning and communication, this paper explores the hypothesis that its pervasive and immediate availability may inadvertently detract students from participating in valuable extracurricular pursuits, which are crucial for holistic development, social skills, and future career prospects. Through a review of existing literature and potential avenues for primary data collection, this paper aims to analyze the perceived barriers and opportunities created by rapid technological access in the context of student involvement in activities beyond the academic curriculum.
