Abstract:

This study examines the relationship between fashion and self-identity, particularly among students in Noveleta, Cavite. It explores how clothing choices influence self-perception and self-esteem among adolescents and young adults. A quantitative research design was applied, utilizing surveys, focus group discussions, and observational data to analyze the correlation between clothing preferences, self-esteem, and identity development. The findings reveal that fashion significantly shapes self-image, allowing students to express individuality and confidence. The study also highlights the impact of fast fashion and cultural influences on clothing choices, emphasizing the importance of mindful consumption.
