Abstract:
Lung cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, with limited treatment options and poor prognosis. Nanoparticles have emerged as a promising tool for lung cancer diagnose is, treatment, and prevention. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of Nanoparticles-based therapies for lung cancer, including chemotherapy, gene therapy, and immunotherapy. For the treatment of lung cancer we discuss the advantages and challenges of using Nanoparticles, including their ability to target cancer cells, reduce toxicity, and improve therapeutic efficacy. Furthermore, we highlight recent advances in Nanoparticles design, surface modification, and delivery strategies that have improved their performance in preclinical and clinical settings. Finally, we discuss future directions for research, including the need for more clinical trials and the development of personalized Nanoparticles-based therapies for lung cancer patients.
