Abstract:

The aging population presents unique challenges in healthcare, characterized by an increasing prevalence of chronic diseases and a growing demand for accessible, high-quality care. This review explores the transformative role of health data analytics in enhancing the quality of life and access to care for elderly individuals. It examines the unique health challenges this demographic faces and the limitations of traditional healthcare models in addressing their needs. By leveraging various data sources, including electronic health records and wearable devices, health data analytics facilitates personalized treatment, predictive care models, and proactive health management. The integration of telemedicine and remote monitoring, bolstered by artificial intelligence and machine learning, offers innovative solutions to improve healthcare delivery. Furthermore, collaborative efforts among healthcare providers, technology platforms, and community organizations are crucial in addressing health disparities and ensuring that elderly populations receive the necessary care. This review underscores the importance of comprehensively integrating health data analytics into geriatric care to promote better health outcomes and improve aging individuals' overall quality of life.
