Abstract:
Hydrogels' biocompatibility, adjustable characteristics, and capacity for controlled drug release have made them attractive delivery systems for anti-inflammatory drugs. These technologies lessen the drawbacks of traditional medication delivery techniques, namely their low bioavailability and systemic side effects. The development, workings, and developments of hydrogel-based delivery methods specifically designed to reduce inflammation are examined in this paper. It explores the various kinds of hydrogels, their potential for therapeutic use, and the present difficulties in bringing these systems from the lab to the clinic.
