Increasing Technological Innovation to Improve Business Efficiency: Case Studies in Textile and Garment Enterprises in Hanoi

Technological innovation is increasingly attracting the attention of many researchers due to the important role of technological innovation in business performance and, more broadly, the level of economic growth and progress. society of countries around the world. The article is based on survey data of 68 textile and garment enterprises in Hanoi, including 24 large-scale enterprises and 44 small and medium-sized enterprises to evaluate the current status of technological innovation. At the same time, the article studies the impact of technological innovation on business performance. Research results show that two components of technological innovation, research and development (R&D) and product innovation, both have a positive impact on business performance of enterprises. From the research results, the author proposes some solutions to enhance business efficiency at Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises.
