Author(s): Nguyen Canh Thao
Abstract:
This research examines the development of e-logistics in Vietnam within the context of digital transformation. The study reveals that Vietnam's e-logistics sector is experiencing rapid growth, driven by a booming e-commerce industry and supported by both government initiatives and private sector innovations. Major urban centers show advanced infrastructure and high technology adoption, while rural areas lag behind. Digital transformation has significantly improved operational efficiency, enhanced customer experience, and spawned new business models in the e-logistics sector. However, several barriers persist, including technological challenges, skill gaps, and regulatory constraints. The research identifies key trends such as the rise of sustainable logistics solutions and the growing importance of data analytics. It highlights the need for comprehensive skills development programs and more adaptive regulatory frameworks to support innovation. The study concludes that while Vietnam has made significant strides in e-logistics development, addressing the identified challenges through collaborative efforts will be crucial for realizing the full potential of e-logistics and positioning Vietnam as a regional leader in digital logistics.
