Abstract:

This systematic review explores the potential impacts of artificial intelligence on the beauty industry, examining a wide range of academic literature, industry reports, and theses to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The review delves into key areas where AI has shown transformative potential, including personalized skincare and beauty product recommendations, virtual try-on technologies, predictive analytics in beauty trends, and AI-driven innovations in product formulation and marketing strategies. The study synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed research and professional analyses, highlighting how AI technologies are reshaping consumer experiences, optimizing supply chains, and enabling brands to engage with customers more effectively. Additionally, it identifies challenges such as data privacy concerns, ethical implications, and the digital divide that may influence the adoption and efficacy of AI in this sector. The review concludes by discussing the implications of these developments for industry stakeholders, public health, and researchers, emphasizing the need for further interdisciplinary studies to address existing gaps and maximize the benefits of AI in enhancing both the consumer and industrial aspects of the beauty industry.
