Abstract:
Usually reserved for high-risk patients, ultrasound guided bilateral rectus sheath block can be a very effective alternative for primary repair of umbilical hernia thereby reducing the morbidity and mortality associated with spinal or general anesthesia and providing adequate anesthesia and analgesia.
