Focused on Pasil, Cebu City, the study explores parental perceptions of children's early engagement in labor and its broader implications for holistic development. Utilizing a case study approach and qualitative data collection through in-depth interviews, the research seeks to provide nuanced insights into parental attitudes, evaluate the educational impact on children, and identify key factors shaping parental perspectives. Key findings illuminate the diverse factors influencing parental decisions, the perceived benefits and challenges of children's livelihood engagement, and implications for holistic child development.
