Abstract:
The study evaluates the effects of current practices of accountability and their relationship with the practices of ethical behavior, internal control systems, and leadership quality of public sector employees in the Solomon Islands. The study used structural equation model analytical tool to observe the correlations between the variables. The findings affirmed that ethical behavior, internal control systems, and leadership quality are positive elements of public accountability.
